  • Small Parcel Picker – Ft. Worth, TX

    Position Overview 

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking a Small Parcel Picker. Experience or license in handling forklifts, end rider pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment is preferred. FedEx Shipment Manager and UPS WorldShip software experience is a plus.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
    • Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
    • Package items, print labels, weigh packages and determine appropriate postage.
    • Stencil, tag or mark orders as requested.
    • Keep records of completed orders.
    • Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
    • Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. The successful candidate will have prior order picker experience, and warehouse experience. In order to be able to perform the job successfully candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, basic math skills, basic computer skills, strong attention to detail and be able to multitask. The candidate will be required to work well in a fast paced environment, work well with others in high stress situations, and remain focused to be able to perform tasks quickly and efficiently. In order to be able to perform the job candidate must be comfortable with heights and must be able to lift 50 pounds. The ideal candidate will be punctual, self motivated, work independently but be willing to ask for help when needed, and willing to accept constructive criticism.

  • Forklift Operator/Order Picker – Ft. Worth, TX

    Position Overview

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking a Forklift Operator/Order Picker. Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment is preferred.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
    • Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
    • Assemble various types of products for shipment.
    • Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks.
    • Wrap orders before loading on trucks.
    • Stencil, tag or mark orders as requested.
    • Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment. 
    • Keep records of completed orders.
    • Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
    • Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.

    Position Overview 

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking a Warehouse Loader/Unloader. Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment is a plus.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Efficiently load and unload freight in a warehouse environment using appropriate motorized and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
    • Check incoming shipments to match order information with items received, and inform the supervisor of any discrepancies.
    • Transport checked and secured goods to assigned storage areas.
    • Assist workers in picking orders from storage areas.
    • Check all picked orders to ensure that they bear the right information such as batch and item numbers.
    • Tag outgoing shipments with information such as batch numbers, expiry dates, and destination addresses.
    • Lift and carry items to awaiting delivery trucks, ensuring that they are properly and safely loaded into vehicles.

    Qualifications 

    High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. The successful candidate will have prior warehouse experience. In order to be able to perform the job successfully candidate should have good written and oral communication skills, be able to count and perform basic math, and follow instructions.   • Sales Manager – Mt. Prospect, IL

    Position Overview

    Schumacher Electric Corporation is looking for a Sales Manager to join our national sales team. The Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for the development and day-to-day management of Schumacher Electric’s domestic distribution network in an assigned sales channel/territory.  A SM is required to have knowledge of the Automotive Aftermarket – both DIY and professional, manage the retail placement of Schumacher’s products either directly or through local distributors, and to develop and execute promotional plans to grow our sales across the territory.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Drive sales through our direct retail and distribution partners with effective account management concentrating on strategic sales planning, communication, and execution
    • Analyze sales trends, identify market opportunities, manage customer requirements developing insights and strategies to increase our business within the territory
    • Educate distributor personnel on Schumacher Electric’s brands and portfolio of products through in-person sales training on how to sell and promote
    • Liaison with the production and marketing departments developing sales forecasts for specific product lines, customers and markets
    • Analyze and understand Point of Sale data to then draw insights and strategies to grow the business
    • Perform market visits on a frequent basis
    • Monitor and evaluate product assortments and marketing efforts of our competition
    • Manage the existing field sales representative network with the territory
    • Work independently and as part of a team to meet overall organizational goals, vision and values of the company

    Qualifications

    A bachelor’s level degree in business or a related degree from an accredited university or college is preferred. Qualified candidate should have at least 2 year sales experience preferably with a leading Consumer Goods or Automotive Aftermarket brand. Experience calling on Sporting Goods, Consumer Electronics, Automotive, and Hardware is a plus. Candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate. The successful candidate will be decisive, strategic and entrepreneurial, and possess strong analytical skills. This is a field sales position with moderate domestic travel required. 

  • International Logistics Coordinator – Ft. Worth, TX or Brownsville, TX

    Position Overview

    Works closely with manufacturing, marketing, and purchasing to create timely, cost-effective import/export supply chains. Responsible for handling the technical details of international transportation—multiple modes, complex documentation, and varying customs regulations, developing distribution strategies, and building relationships with logistics intermediaries. Serves as a troubleshooter, dealing with problems inherent in moving freight long distances and holding inventory in multiple global locations.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manages the performance of international carriers and logistics intermediaries 
    • Ensures compliance with international and U.S. laws related to import/export activity
    • Evaluates trade-offs between transportation costs, inventory costs, and service levels
    • Works with packaging engineers to effectively protect import/export goods
    • Develops logistics strategies and processes for entering new markets on a global basis
    • Update all ETA dates for all international shipments
    • Supervise the Inbound Logistics with Warehousing team
    • Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments on a daily basis

  • Accounts Receivable Manager – Mt. Prospect, IL

    Position Overview

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager. Knowledge of Syteline accounting software is a plus.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Monitor processing of invoices and ensure timely collection of payments
    • Conduct credit checks on all customers as well as establish and manage their credit limits
    • Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly
    • Analyze customer accounts for any skipped, partial payments or customer errors and negotiate with customers in non-payment cases
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc forecasting reports
    • Provide weekly reports of invoice totals, aging totals, cash receipts and invoice adjustments
    • Update receivables by coordinating and monitoring daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions
    • Maintain accounting ledgers by posting monthly account transactions
    • Assist in monthly closing
    • Assist with audits throughout the year
    • Maintain Accounts Receivables files
    • Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and have 8-10 years of retail Accounts Receivable experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager and have hands-on experience with accounting software. This position requires excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports. Candidate should have the ability to accurately process numerical data, be self-motivated, and flexible with special projects. Candidate should be proficient in MS Excel and Word and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
