  • Small Parcel Picker – Ft. Worth, TX

    Position Overview 

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking a Small Parcel Picker. Experience or license in handling forklifts, end rider pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment is preferred. FedEx Shipment Manager and UPS WorldShip software experience is a plus.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
    • Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
    • Package items, print labels, weigh packages and determine appropriate postage.
    • Stencil, tag or mark orders as requested.
    • Keep records of completed orders.
    • Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
    • Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. The successful candidate will have prior order picker experience, and warehouse experience. In order to be able to perform the job successfully candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills, basic math skills, basic computer skills, strong attention to detail and be able to multitask. The candidate will be required to work well in a fast paced environment, work well with others in high stress situations, and remain focused to be able to perform tasks quickly and efficiently. In order to be able to perform the job candidate must be comfortable with heights and must be able to lift 50 pounds. The ideal candidate will be punctual, self motivated, work independently but be willing to ask for help when needed, and willing to accept constructive criticism.

  • Forklift Operator/Order Picker – Ft. Worth, TX

    Position Overview

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking a Forklift Operator/Order Picker. Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment is preferred.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Receive and check incoming pick tickets.
    • Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
    • Assemble various types of products for shipment.
    • Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks.
    • Wrap orders before loading on trucks.
    • Stencil, tag or mark orders as requested.
    • Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment. 
    • Keep records of completed orders.
    • Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
    • Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.

    Qualifications

  • Warehouse Loader/Unloader – Ft. Worth, TX

    Position Overview 

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking a Warehouse Loader/Unloader. Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment is a plus.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Efficiently load and unload freight in a warehouse environment using appropriate motorized and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
    • Check incoming shipments to match order information with items received, and inform the supervisor of any discrepancies.
    • Transport checked and secured goods to assigned storage areas.
    • Assist workers in picking orders from storage areas.
    • Check all picked orders to ensure that they bear the right information such as batch and item numbers.
    • Tag outgoing shipments with information such as batch numbers, expiry dates, and destination addresses.
    • Lift and carry items to awaiting delivery trucks, ensuring that they are properly and safely loaded into vehicles.

    Qualifications 

    High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. The successful candidate will have prior warehouse experience. In order to be able to perform the job successfully candidate should have good written and oral communication skills, be able to count and perform basic math, and follow instructions.   • International Logistics Coordinator – Ft. Worth, TX or Brownsville, TX

    Position Overview

    Works closely with manufacturing, marketing, and purchasing to create timely, cost-effective import/export supply chains. Responsible for handling the technical details of international transportation—multiple modes, complex documentation, and varying customs regulations, developing distribution strategies, and building relationships with logistics intermediaries. Serves as a troubleshooter, dealing with problems inherent in moving freight long distances and holding inventory in multiple global locations.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manages the performance of international carriers and logistics intermediaries 
    • Ensures compliance with international and U.S. laws related to import/export activity
    • Evaluates trade-offs between transportation costs, inventory costs, and service levels
    • Works with packaging engineers to effectively protect import/export goods
    • Develops logistics strategies and processes for entering new markets on a global basis
    • Update all ETA dates for all international shipments
    • Supervise the Inbound Logistics with Warehousing team
    • Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments on a daily basis
    • Develops and executes business improvement projects to reduce freight cost and improve transportation functions

  • Junior Network Administrator - Mount Prospect, IL

    Position Overview

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking a Junior Network Administrator.

    The Junior Network Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related to client side systems. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational Standards, enabling staff, and related company’s proper utilization of hardware and software assets. Proper tracking of Corp Assets will also be required and onboarding and training of new users.

    This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life cycle.

    This individual is accountable for the following systems: Linux and Windows systems that support VMware; Windows and Application systems that support all mission/non-mission critical services of the companies; Responsibilities on these systems include provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.  This individual will also be responsible for maintenance and support of the company network.

    Position Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee all aspects of IT department infrastructure operations, Communication (LAN, WAN, etc.), backup recovery
    • Manage overall capacity utilization of server/hardware environment ensuring it is optimized to meet business requirements
    • Develop documentation supporting system standards and operation
    • Perform maintenance, including installation of patches, upgrades and maintenance required to keep systems operational and as directed by management

    Qualifications

    Specific Areas of Knowledge:

    • VMWare Virtualization – including networking and troubleshooting
    • Networking – Cisco, WatchGuard
    • Understanding of IP Addressing (CIDR/Net masks), VLANs, port trunks, and basic layer 3 routing
    • General Server Administration (Windows Servers, User/Group, Security, IIS, active directory)
    • Some Website Administration or understanding
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Familiarity with Nimble systems and administration desired
