  • Account Executive – IL, NY, OH or MI

    Position Overview

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking an Account Executive. This position is looking for someone bilingual (if possible), who is fluent in French.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities

    • Actively seek out and acquire new Canadian accounts through research of the market to identify target customers, their current product offerings, and the strategy necessary to obtain their business.
    • Grow existing Canadian customers by obtaining new orders and scheduling promotions to increase sales through their stores.
    • Manage independent sales representatives to best support and grow the business in their assigned territory.
    • Attend trade shows and other related functions to increase market and customer development.
    • Visit customers on a regular basis to maintain a strong relationship and inform them of new products and product transitions. Provide product training as necessary.
    • Submit monthly sales forecast and work with management to ensure good product availability.
    • Stay informed about competitive products and report market trends and new technologies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
    • Resolve customer complaints and follow-up with customers to ensure all sales / marketing programs are properly communicated, implemented and fully supported.
    • Inform the accounting department of any changes to the customer pricing or programs as they occur. Also, work with accounting to settle any customer disputes.

    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of sales experience. Candidate should have a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics with the ability to apply to sales strategy. In order to be successful in this position candidate should have a strong understanding of the Canadian market. Experience working with Canadian Tire, Walmart, CARQUEST, NAPA, Lordco, Princess Auto, Best Buy, and Uni-Select preferred. 

  • Jr. Sales Analyst – Ft. Worth, TX

    Position Overview

    Schumacher Electric Corporation, the industry leader of battery chargers in the automotive aftermarket and private sector, is seeking a Jr. Sales Analyst.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends.
    • Review past sales data to determine trends in sales and productivity.
    • Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources.
    • Evaluate third-party data to determine best uses/practices for company success.
    • Present actionable information and insights to team members and management.
    • Gather and analyze data in order to understand problems and address them proactively.
    • Collaborate with team members and members of other departments.
    • Collaborate with the business’s functional areas, including sales, customer support, and marketing and gather data and communicate requirements.
    • Analyze the market and industry reports and data.
    • Create both financial and marketing models in PowerPoint presentations.
    • Document the financial directions, business processes and structure of the business.
    • Work within the sales, delivery, marketing and technology consultancy.
    • Deal with decision support, syndicate bench marking, and strategy research and technology investment.
    • Work within team to ensure timely results.
    • Review, and research primary and secondary documents to deliver presentations.

    Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of excel, word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
    • Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills.
    • Superior oral and written communication skills.
    • High level of organization and detail-orientation.
    • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
    • Good attitude toward teamwork as well as the ability to work independently.
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize.
    • Excellent time management.
    • Knowledge of Sales-I software and Demand Works Forecasting tool a plus.
