California Transparency in Supply Chains Act Statement

California Transparency in Supply Chains Act Statement

This statement is made in compliance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 which requires companies to disclose efforts to eliminate slavery and human trafficking in supply chains.  Schumacher Electric Corporation requires suppliers to comply with the company’s Code of Conduct and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in the jurisdictions in which we conduct our business, including laws related to the prohibition of human trafficking and slave labor.  This may include auditing our suppliers with periodic onsite visits.  Discovery of a failure of a supplier to comply with the prohibition of human trafficking and slave labor would result in the demand for corrective action and/or a termination of our relationship with that supplier.  Employees with direct responsibilities for supply chain management are trained to identify and evaluate risks within our supply chain.  Further information on the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act can be found here:  http://leginfo.ca.gov/pub/09-10/bill/sen/sb_0651-0700/sb_657_bill_20100930_chaptered.html
